Imagine approaching a complete stranger on the streets of one of the largest cities in the world and presenting the gospel to them. Intimidating? Outright frightening? Some of those same emotions were felt by the students on the ministry teams that went to Open Air Evangelism (OAE) in New York City during the fall quarter. Through the process, however,
many students felt empowered in the realization that they, too, could share their faith and it wasn’t as bad as they thought it would be. These ministry teams also went to Super Bowls and took part in the Harvest Jamboree. The winter quarter was spent hard at work involved with snow camp. Then in the spring quarter many of these teams spent an entire week of OAE in New York City.
