STUDENT COUNCIL

I have certainly enjoyed this year (that has so quickly as Activities Council president. Yes, I did soon discover all that was required of one found in a position such as I found myself earlier this school year. Thinking back, I’m nearly positive time passes more quickly on this Adirondack campus than anywhere I’ve been. It seems just yesterday our hearts were humored and warmed as Sum ner Wemp moved us to share Christ with everyone we could. It couldn’t have been more than a couple of days since we were well introduced to Calvin and Hobbes and the merciless “cold war” ever present between Mr. Wicks and Mr. Davis. Not so much later, alarm clocks across the campus were reset as the concept of Snow Camp abolished all chances of anyone suffering from insomnia for at least ten weeks. Yet the satisfaction of a weekend spent in fluencing lives for Christ brought a joy no amount of rest could supply. Somewhere in all that was a missions con ference, Valentines banquet, Bible conference and Mr. Hobbs’ wedding, to name a few highlights. Yes, this was an excellent year, good times and bad. Demerits were low, offerings were high and test scores just above average. Sure, I’m thankful and downright proud to have been a part of this class; you should be too! -Paul Kelly
