Missions Conference-------------
The beginning of the winter quarter was kicked off with the 21st Annual Word of Life Missions Conference. The week was packed full of seminars explaining the many open doors around the world. This year the key-note speaker was Earl Poysti, whom God has used in a tremendous way in Russia. On January 2, 1992, George Theis closed the conference with a message challenging stu dents to say, “I’ll go where you want me to go, and I’ll do what you want me to do.’’ 184 students took his challenge by going forward at the close of the service. Another highlight of the week was seeing God enable us with the faith we needed to go above and beyond our faith promise goal of $43,000. At last count, the Class of ’92 promised to give $57,729 towards the selected missions projects.
