Valentine’s Banquet
Once upon a time in the small town of Pottersville, a group of studious, young scholars gathered to celebrate the memory of Saint Valentine. It was an occasion much awaited- some couldn’t wait for this once-a-year event, while others dreaded it’s occurence for lack of a “companion.” Nonetheless all en joyed the time of fellowship, recogniz ing the true meaning of love- God’s unsurpassed love for us. We remember beforehand how, Mr. Joe Schenke, most honored dean of students, put out an appeal for the men of the community to be brave and ask a lady to the banquet, encouraging them not to falter in their attempts.
