Becca Steed, Stephanie Patrick This year has been an awesome year. The team has learned a lot about acting as one and doing what is best for the body. I count it a privilege to have been able to come back and minister and play with these men. Our coaches: Butch Jarrell, Bill Bowman, and Daryl Jackson each poured into all of our lives. We were led by Casey Jarrell, Steve Martin, Jeff Joseph and Kyle Bush. I am especially proud of the bond that we have all formed with each other. We have been able to have an effective ministry with all the teams we played seeing people saved and seeing Christians strengthened by watching our testimony on the court and after the games. Personally, I have learned a great deal this season. It has shown me that ministry is what you make it, and that it’s more than
about your heart than anything else. We have had many defining moments as a team, but there are two games that stick out to me the most. The RPI game was an amazing ministry because after losing by three the whole team stayed back and ministered with at least one person from the opposing team. We also had one salvation decision that game and als planted seeds that will soon be ready for harvest. Another that stands out is the one against Paul Smith’s College. Every single player did something to contribute to that win. Whether it was locking down their go to scorer or scoring 8 points in 35 seconds everyone gave all they had and more for the team and for God’s glory. ~ Jeffrey Joseph 63
