has been an awesome opportunity to be a part of the volleyball team this year. It was struggle at first to find volleyball players and, therefore, our team consisted of only 7 layers. But even though we were so few, God used this team in a great way. I was put in the position of an outside hitter and had to get out of my comfort zone to yell “Got it!” or “Mine!” being a part of the team, we got to spend a lot of time together for example, during practices, van rides, and games. We got to know each other very well and learned encourage each other both on and off the court. I was challenged to get out there and just share with the girls how I feel and be an encouragement to them. We usually played our game first and then we would approach the other team and ask if we could pray with them. We almost never got turned down. We would ask for prayer jests, pray and then talk to them. Several times we had the opportunity to witness only to the team we had just finished playing but also to spectators who were fun of us while we were playing and were not respecting God at all in what they were saying. It has been an amazing volleyball season, and I am glad that I got to be a part of this
