As a team, we accomplished a lot of practical, physical needs-meeting; chopping wood, clearing/ making roads, digging ditches (lucky guys get all the fun and dirty harcf work), scraping and painting gates/fences7boats, painting summer camp buildings, sanding floors, planting frees, moving (huge) bricks, weeding and planting the garden (tomatoes!), kitchen work (always a need - especially with 40 extra mouths to feed!), and many other things. We also were able to go ---------------------------------to orphanages, clean houses for the elderly, share
the gospel through sports, and do OAE with the students and staff in Kiev (amazing!!!). I have never been so aware of the cross of Christ, and His blood that was shed for me, and the hope that I have in knowing God. It was through Open Air that Ilearned, in one sense, numbers don’t really matter... but in another, they really do. The numbers made a huge impact on my perspective that day, and now it has changed the way I see individual people, not just the masses. God brought the increase, yes, and God works in hearts, ana I believe all people (not just myself) were changed because of the trip ~Eryn Johnson
