Embarking on a journey to South America, Missions Reality Argentina was an incredible trip, experiencing how God could use each of us individually. Being a smaller team, each person was blessed with their own translator, which was great for OAE, as well as visiting a prison, schools, and orphanages. One especially amazing opportunity was going to a prison so we could minister to the people there. Noriko Sakamoto loved seeing the effect of the gospel in this ministry. “The word of God really can change your life. It was awesome to see Godte power and how awesome He is!’ The whole team got to see how life changing the Word is; we were able to listen to current Bible Institute students, who had previously been imprisoned,
speak about their desire to be pastors, or working in full time ministry. Each team member had the opportunity to stay with an Argentine Bible Institute student and eat dinner at a missionary^ home to talk about what it was like to be in full time missions. The trip was challenging, and pushed everyone out of their comfort zones, but God showed His power in mighty ways as many people came to know Christ through the teams ministry. Michael Boilard said what he most enjoyed was that, “We had the chance to have a devotional with all the directors down in Argentina. They really challenged us with the Word of God and encouraged us through their testimonies and with what God is doing there”
