The ministry of the Fusion Team has been such a blessing for me as we have traveled around the northeast to various churches. The goal of our team was to be a "breath of fresh air”to the church we visited. We put on some amazing STORM events and some FASCAR Derbies and also had the opportunity to contribute to the worship service on Sunday by leading music worship or preaching and teaching Sunday School classes! All these things were in our "job description”as members of the Fusion Team and the Lord taught me abundantly through the ministries of these events. The beautiful thing about partaking in ministry for the Lord is how He sustains us. I found through my participation in this ministry that I received so much more than I could ever give. I can remember starting each weekend with a prayer to God asking Him to use me to meet needs in the lives of people despite my many weaknesses and in spite of the fact that I had spiritual needs of my own. In short, in the course of my opportunity to serve and give of myself in ministry, God richly blessed me emotionally, physically and spiritually through the host families and through the church body! The most amazing thing was that the church members had no idea what needs our team members had and because of their love for the Lord were able to unknowingly serve and teach us through their lives and personal walks with God. The body of Christ is truly an amazing and incredible gift we have as believers! Someone once told me that home is where your family is and it has been an overwhelming joy to be able to be at home everywhere we went! -Maddie Robinson
