R eturning from break, our campus goes into a flurry of activity and swirling snow. Life here starts without a moment of hesitation, set on a fast pace with new excitements and purpose. Halfway through the year it was time to take what we have learned and begin to apply it. That is where Snow Camp begins. Eight weeks of nonstop, on the move, ventures where our ministry is put to the test. With classes during the week and Camp on the weekends, time is limited so you have to make it count and give it your all. One of our Snow Camp mottos is “It may be our fourth, fifth, or sixth weekend, but it is the campers’ first:’It is a true test in selfless ministry, learning to get out of your comfort zone, muster up as much energy as possible, and give it every thing you’ve got in selflessly serving others. Whether it is praying for snow so that it doesn’t become ice camp, cleaning in housekeeping, serving behind the counter of the snack shack, acting in the drama, singing with the worship team, working the tube hill, or counseling with the weekend crew, every single person is valuable in the unity of our Word of Life family. The air may not have been full of snowflakes this year, but it was heavy with encouragement, prayer, and devotion for our one common cause: winning souls and planting seeds. So even though we may have dragged our feet from all the late
