B eing a Dorm Supervisor here at Word of Life has been a chal lenge. Coming from a State Uni versity, I was accustomed to alcohol or unescorted males in women dorms confrontations. I expected to find an easy time of it here at Word of Life. Not quite. I was in for a big surprise when I found out I was responsible to confront doodling-in-class offenders, hem-line violators and the like. The first quarter was rough. Often times I felt like quit- ting. But, you know, the Lord really did a work in my life through the Dorm Sup. position. A nd the rules and reg ulations stopped being a drag and be-! came an opening for me to get close to some girls at Word of Life. The rules no longer were my primary focus; but, rather the heart attitudes behind the rules. God gave me an awesome priv ilege to influence those around me. It was both a joy and an honor to in fluence people to make the right choices ... no matter where they're at. — Katie Dodd
