An Intern's Perspective “I thank the Lord for the priv ilege to serve as the Deans of Women Intern this past year. It wasn't always easy, but it was an excellent growing experience. I learned that my help, my strength, and my all must come from the Lord. He is a faithful God and a good God. In my time of need or in my time of great joy, He is the one I must look to. Psalm 121:1&2 were my verses for the year." Stacey Kroh. were times when it seemed as though the burdens were too heavy for me to carry. But God was always there to help me through. As I look forward to be coming a Pastor someday, the skills which I have learned throughout this year will benefit me greatly." Jerm. 29:11-13. Rob ert Lawson. will be something you carry with you as you leave here and apply it to your lives to glorify God. Never forget the lives you saw changed through your ministries and never forget that some of the lives changed were your own. "I look back at my year as the Ministry Intern with both joy and tears and thankfulness to God for an invaluable experience. It was a privilege to work under godly men and women whose consis tent lives have shaped and af fected my own. This year I have learned that God blesses this or ganization because it is made up of people who are faithful to Him. I have learned much at be ing a servant by working with people who have servant's hearts. The times of learning and stretching will be the times I re member most because it was then that I depended on my Saviour to do what couldn't be done on my own strength. None of us will forget the winter weeks of Snow Camp where we saw that reality at work in all our lives. I pray that the servant attitude and flexibility displayed during those weeks
"Being the Academic Intern dur ing my second year was a chal lenge and good experience. God's grace was evident and through some struggles, I learned more about God, people and myself. Working more closely with the staff broadened my view of full time ministry. As I look back, I am amazed how God blesses me so immense and that I had the privilege of working as an intern. A thank you to Miss Richards and Mr. Davis, and the entire staff. Never underestimate what God can do with a life." Joshua 1:8 Daniela Kurz. "I thank the Lord and the ad ministration for allowing me to serve as the Admissions Intern. I have come to know how suffi cient God's grace really is. There
"As I reflect on my year as the Deans of Men Intern, there have been good times and times of struggle. Yet through it all, I praise God for his grace and faithfulness. Oh how I have been made aware that His mercies are made new every morning. One of my highlights was the privilege of leading you Sunday by Sunday in worhsip, and my prayer for each of you is that the words of "Shine Jesus Shine" (which you all loved so much) would be your story. "As we gaze on Your king ly brightness, so our faces display Your likeness, ever changing from glory to glory, mirrored here may our lives tell Your story. Shine on me, Shine on me." May your light too shi«.e." Matt. 5:14- 16. Andrew Wilson.
To be able to go on Passion Play South was one of the most exciting experiences of the year. It showed me a completely different view of the story of Christ's life. It really touched my life to actually see the crucifixion scene. I realize the pain that Christ willingly went through for me and it made my salvation mean much more than it did before. I really enjoyed being able to minister to people and be ministered to at the same time. — Mary Freeland
To be a part of the Passion Play tour was an indescribable blessing from the Lord. It showed me a little of what Christ's suffering must have been and brought to life the victorious resurrection. This pro duction really made an impact on my life. — Becky McGee.
