Word of Life Bible Institute Yearbook 1991

Spring Feve, The feeling you get when it's an absolutely gorgeous, sunny day - 75, 70 degrees outside — and you have two more classes to sit through before you are free. There's not a power in this world that can make you pay attention in those last two classes! It makes you want to jump in a convertible, put the top down and drive about 400 mph — just to feel the wind in your face — you put in Michael W. Smith's "Go West, Young Man" and head toward the setting sun. Everybody starts wearing shorts and T-shirts even if it is just 59 degrees out! You start ignoring the few dirty clumps of snow and look instead to the almost-green grass of the football field. It seems like everybody is generally happier. Love is in the air — how many couples got engaged over Spring Break?!. The WOLBI Weekly prints — 6 times, mind you — that "Spring is here, and so is the mud"! But nobody really minds the mud, because Spring is here!! You wake up to birds singing and you don't have to wear a jacket to classes! Everybody get's a little crazier. You about go insane when you have to work and the weather is so awesome and everybody else gets to enjoy it. The Yearbook deadlines usually fall on the most beautiful days of the year, so we have to be inside working all day. But, eventually, classes end, SYM and Summer School students graduate, and you go home to relax for two weeks before the best Summer of your life starts, and Spring Fever is lost again until next year.
