Students from throughout America and foreign coun tries study only the Bible from visiting faculty members like Sumner Wemp, David Wyrtzen, Howard Hendricks, Joseph Stowell. John Whitcomb. David Jeremiah. John Walvoord, Wendell Calder, Robert Dowie and many other great men of God. In 12 months, students study the entire Bible from three different perspectives: survey, theology', and doctrine and . . . knowledge {s put into practice through ministry in open air evangelism, work with local churches, youth work, rescue missions and camp counseling. The complete course of studies is recognized by many other Chris tian colleges across the country. Graduating students are frequently granted enough credits to transfer as sophomores. Word of Life camps are the ultimate in Christian camping for chil dren and adults of all ages. Nestled on Schroon Lake amid the heart of the scenic Adirondack Mountains, the camps are like no other. To the thousands who have been there, the camps and fun are synonymous. All activities are interwoven with a Christ-centered program that makes Word of Life the ultimate camping experience. At the Inn, summer has nine exciting weeks of Bible Conferences, plus Labor and Memorial Day Weekends. Autumn includes Fall Fo liage Weekends, and winter is highlighted by Snow Camp Weekends and special conferences in the cllmatized 800-seat auditorium. The Inn is specialized for adults and small children. Activities galore . . . heated swimming pool, tennis, hiking, softball, basketball, fishing, trail rides on horseback or horsedrawn carriage and chuck wagon breakfasts are in store for all families at the Family Campgrounds. Wet and wild excitement await those who make the Island part of their summer vacation plans. There's waterskiing, boating, bumper rides, the Sea Sled, the Water Slide, basketball, tennis, volleyball and the best of the rest in traditional camping and activities. Teens and College and Career are Invited to the Island. On the Ranch, campers can choose from a wide variety of activities including soccer, roller-skating, rifle range, football, swimming, pup- peteering, archery, softball, sailing, trail rides, boating, basketball, water slide, rodeo, and arts and crafts. The Ranch includes first Word of Life Clubs are designed to complement the ministry of the local church. Our vision is to see young people and adults reached with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and then channeled into local Blble- believing churches where they can grow. Word of Life clubs are committed to a well-balanced and practical program of evangelism, discipleship, and leadership training. Word of Life Clubs offers a total program reaching youth in three age groups. The Olympian program ministers to boys and girls in grades 1 through 6. Teen Clubs involve junior and senior high youth. And College-Career Fellowship minister to young adults. Each year some 50,000 young people attend Word of Life camps around the world, while hundreds more attend the 14 Word of Life Bible Institutes worldwide.
