The N/Jissi^n’s Reality trip to Portugal Was awesome. all expectations were blown out of the Water. I think going into t\\e trip most o\ the team Was expecting nonstop evangelism. but that’s not the “reality" of missions. granted We had £?pen Air mfitt ings and timfis to pass tut tracts, but We also had unity days and Work days. Owe of thfi main reasons missionaries Leave thfi fifild is because thfiy dont gfit along with thfi other missionaries. so thfiy had us do thfi ropes course to become unitfid as a tfiam. Although thfi ropes course Was tons of fun and fiLLfid with "sick tricks. We really saw the team come together and Wort, as the body of Christ. We also got to serve WO L staff at meals and through maintenance around the camp, our biggest project being the sludge-filled pool. One Last highlight of the trip Was being able to sit under W/endall Calder’s teaching at a Leadership Conference where several Local churches came together to Learn. The [fission’s Reality trip Was the experience of a Lifetime and opened the eyes of each of our team members to the World of missions. W/ritten by: CaitLin franezak
