I t has been said that discipleship is like "one beggar telling another beggar where to find the crumbs", but when you consider Hebrews 5:11-14 it is more like a banqueter leading the beggar to where the fulfilling meal is prepared. The heart of Word of Life in discipleship is that each and every student has a godly older man or woman to help them develop their walk and to deal with lifes issues as they arise, using the Word of God as the sufficient answer to life and godliness. Taking the classes that the students are in as well as the daily quiet time, the discipler helps the student to apply it to their life. Oftentimes the discipleship relationship develops into what Proverbs 27:17 states as a friend sharpening his friend. Strong "Paul and Timothy" relationships are developed in this ministry that aids hundreds of students every year to grow effectively in the
Word of God and to change from needing to be bottle fed the Word to devouring the "strong meat" of the Word.
