m *. W founders CONFERENCE A s the academic year draws to a close and everyone is franticly preparing for summer ministry, it is a perfect
world. Every meeting was filled with a chal lenge! The grand finale was the Memorial Day Rally in which we took the time to re member those who died for our freedom in this country but also remember the One who died and rose to give us eternal freedom. The speaker, Lieutenant General William G. Boykin said that this was the finest Memorial Day Rally he has ever attended. This weekend was the most appro priate event to have to end the school year. Word of Life§ focus is the Word of God and to bring that into perspective so much dur- ing the final weekend for the students at the
time to bring the student body together and spend four days to halt the chaos and focus intently on the Word of God through vari ous worship services each day. The purpose of Founders Conference is to glorify God for what He has done through lives and leaders in the past and look forward and prepare for the future. The theme for Founders Conference this year was "Staying True to the Word of God in a World of Lies"; it was the privilege of the audience to sit under the preaching of left and was brought to a close with a flood of people at an altar call to those who felt the Holy Spirit changing their heart through the weekend. It was a powerful weekend that really brought into focus how we are to be living in the world, but not becoming of the
Hayes Wicker, Harry Bollback, Joe Jordan, Word of Life Bible Institute was perfect. Also and Don Lough. The weekend started with many alumni were in attendance for this fine remembering the legacy that Jack Wyrtzen weekend and they too had a reminder of what
Word of Life is about as they focused on the most important relationship anyone can have, our relationship with our Lord and Savior!
