B asketball W hen a ball passing through a hoop becomes an effective ministry tool for spreading the Gospel, you've discovered the Word of Life Ladie s Basketball Team. A strong testimony of the love of Christ, these ladies ministered in colleges all around the area. Whether to introduce Jesus Christ on a lost campus or to encourage and exhort the believers on the team, the Word of Life Ladie s Basketball Team took their unique mission field by storm. The Ladies Basketball Team was also given the opportunity to witness one-on-one in Open Air Evangelism and other various ministries. Being on the basketball team widened their sphere of influence even farther beyond what they could have expected. It is not so unbelievable that a sport loved by so many can be such a powerful vehicle for the Gospel. So, with spiritual victory in their eyes the girls throw in the towel after a wonderful season of ministering to the world of intercollegiate ladie s basketball.
