Word of Life Bible Institute Yearbook 2004

Chris Milian and Don Brosius of the WOL Impact Team spend much of their time ministering to local churches.

Building up the body As a unified body of believers getting involved in an established local church is one of our greatest responsibilities. One of the unique opportunities offered to Word of Life students is the Local Church Ministry. Numerous local churches, spanning from Mountain Side in Pottersville to Grace Fellowship Church in Albany, allow 3-6 Wolbi Students to come each week and serve in various capacities. The majority of students are placed as workers in the children ministries of the church and are given the opportunity to help out with their Sunday school programs. Developing relationships with the children, parents and staff at their assigned church is a vital part of the time these students spend in Ministry. For some, the time spent ministering on Sunday mornings serves as their prime time to develope these relation ships. For others, who’s assigned churches are a bit farther away from WOLBI, opportunity is given to develope relation ships while they are housed each Saturday night in the homes of various church members. In essence, this ministry provides a year of practical training in the Local church and in mm prepares these students for their years of local church service in the future.

Johnny Kirkpatrick, Randee McGregor, and the Pine family all work together to make Faith Baptist Church a fun place to be.
