Serving God in a variety oj ways Friday: Class from 8-1. Travel 7 hours to Bangor, Maine. Stay awake for 12 hours straight Friday night and see hundreds of teens come to know Christ. Saturday: Sleep till dinner. This is just the typical schedule of a student serving on a Ministry Team this fall. You name it, the Ministry Teams have gone and used it as a method of spreading the Gospel! From judging white water rafting contests at West Creek to raking leaves at the Sagandaga Conference Center, the students who have ministered on these teams have had numerous opportunities to share the gospel with people of all ages, backgrounds and beliefs. Having the chance to serve both on and oft campus, they have imitated Christ’s example of service to countless unbelievers, racking leaves, cooking meals lor the homeless, and jumping from hockey games to roller skating arenas at 3:00 in the morning! Yet what a reward it is to see young and old alike come to know the Lord through their obedience. Through their dedication to ministry, the person and passion of Jesus Christ has been made known through out the North East.

Iwas on the On Campus ministry team and we were able to reach out during different events on campus. Being involved in this ministry has really showed me what it means to be a servant for Christ and do it willingly and joyfully. I learned that in ministry, prayer and unity are so important. I was able to see how God amazingly puts everything into place for His glory! (Flebrews 6:10, Phil 2:14).

“A plan without resources is just a plan, but when the right resources are available, anything is possible.” Resource, the one term to best describe what a ministry team is.The opportunity of participating in ministry teams was shown me what happens when people make themselves available to be used as a resource for God. He uses them to accomplish His plan. Whether the teams were being used at a Superbowl, community service, or on campus for retreats, the way God ministered to others through as was truly invaluable. Word of Life MinistryTeams was an exciting way to serve people and serve God with all our heart.
