Word of Life Bible Institute Yearbook 2004

to win Tives Opportunities abounded during the year for the women’s soccer team. They only had the chance to play a few games but after each one the team was having conversations with the opposing team. Those they played against saw good attitudes on the field and off. The best testimony for an athlete is to behave in a sportsmanlike manner. Open Air Evangelism during Spring quarter was also an amazing opportunity to bond as a team and work together to see souls won for Christ. Success is not measured by games won. but whether you have played the game for the glory of God.

Amanda Mae Phillips easily steals the ball away from another student during a pick-up game against the guys soccer team.

This year was the first year Ihad ever played soccer on a team, and it was just amazing. My favorite part about being on the soccer team was being able to talk to the players at the end and see where they were in their lives and share with them the awesome gift 1 have from my Savior. In the spring we went on OAE to Newark, NJ. That was just incredible. It was really hard but God alone got me through it. During this trip we saw 40 lost souls come to Christ. Being on the soccer team was a great opportunity to learn and grow during my second year. Thanks to all of you on the team and special thanks to Coach Stephanie Sexton for giving your time to us. We love you.
