A Good Soldier With a challenge to “be a good soldier,” WOLBI kicked off another busy quarter with its annual missions conference. After a Christmas break, what better way to get students excited for Snow Camp than to encourage them to evangelize wherever God has them, not only in the future, but also in their everyday scedule. J 1 J J Nard Pugyo, Ron Bishop, and our very own Harry Rollback gave incredible messages from the Word of God filled with personal stories of how God worked in their lives in the area of missions. When the invitation was given to dedicate you life to full-time missions, it was awesome to see that many students who were willing to take that first “step of faith,” telling God they were readv to go anywhere and do anything for Him. Music played a very large role in the conference. Each day the student body and special guests were blessed by the special music during the services. It was all pulled together by the International Concert on the final evening. Music from Canada, Korea, Japan, and Mexico were only a few of the distinct sounds that blessed through their renditions of worship songs.
The Canadian Impact Team ministers in song during one of the meetings. It was great to have many countries represented by student participation.
TTe LgavxywJfo I , Brian Donnelly and Chris Coates present tin exhilirating rendition of Lacucaracha. Many countries were represented for the missions conference by the music.
An open house was held for missions orga nizations to share with students the nu merous oppoitunites for missions both overseas and in the United States.
Because of the missions conference I plan on going to the NewTribes Missions Institute following one more year of Bible college. Ihope to work with NewTribes in the church planting area.
