flute.Yet not only does she love to play music, Wiktoria has also been known to carry quite a^j^^ -f~fe> tune herself. Though very humble about her voice, she has used her gift of song on numerous ^ occasions at her home church which she and her family began attending when Wiktoria was only eight years old. Moving from the Catholic Church to a strictly Bible believing one was a big step for

the Stokarska family. It was through the teaching diere and the camps the youth of the church attended that both Wiktoria and her family came to know Christ as their Savior. Since then, diey have served as a family in various capacities, with Wiktoria teaching Sunday school for the 3-5 year olds and her parents involving themselves in the Marriage Counseling Ministry. Though her hobbies include basketball, photography, and putting her beautiful voice to use in song, Wiktoria also enjoys working as a counselor atWord of Life summer camps in Poland.Though she had thought about attending college in Poland, she knew she had enjoyed her experience as a counselor with Word of Life and was urged by her Pastor to check out the Bible Institute. Both excited and nervous to come to the States,Wiktoria is so glad die Lord led her to attend the BI this year. As she enjoys her year here atWord of Life and leans on the Lord to guide her in the future, Wiktoria is living her life in Christ . on the victory side.”

Semmes, Alabama

HjtfC

With her home in Semmes, Alabama, this southern Belle made the trek from the beaches of ‘Bama to the snowy mountains of NewYork. Spending her second year atWOLBI, NY, Amy Ketchum can testify to God using seemingly small struggles, even that of the weather, to grow' character in the lives of His children. Growing up in a Christian home, Amy was saved at an early age during a Junior church service at her home church.Though she had said the sinners prayer and was attending a Christian school, it wasn’t until she was twelve years old that the Lord really got a hold of Amy’s heart, it was then that she wholeheartedly dedicated her life to the Lord. Though by today’s standards it is assumed tiiat every student go straight from high school graduation to receive a college education, this was not Amy’s desire. Instead, she knew7clearlywhat she wanted to do: get married and become a stay at home mom! Yet these plans began to change in May of her Senior year when her pastor took her youth group to a week of camp atWOLBI, FL. Even though her knowledge of the school was minimal after being there only one week, Amy knew7that WOLBI, FL, was where God wanted her to be. The summer following the completion of her first year, Amy and a friend decided to head to the BI in New York on a road trip. Though the idea of attending the second year program in New7York had crossed Amy’s mind, it was quickly ruled out by the rumors of snow storms.Yet, just a few weeks later, God made clear to Amy that WOLBI, NY, was indeed the place for her. In coming to the BI, God has taught Amy so much. She has learned the importance of contentment, not only w7ith the below zero weather and snowy treks to council hall, but in all areas of her life. Relying on Proverbs 3:5-6, she has learned that trusting God with 99% of life simply isn’t enough... it must be all or nothing. And thankfully, contrary to the experiences of others, Amy has yet to learn what if feels like to have her nose hairs freeze! Truly, this southern belle has learned of the many trials and blessings that arrive on the road as we travel .. on the victory side! ”
