Sometimes the Lord works in mysterious ways. Upon coming to Word of Life, I had three previous years of experience in the culinary arts. I knew God was calling me into this field but I had J O no direction as to where. One day as I was searching the web, I realized Word of Life actually has a culinary program. After much prayer and council, I have clear direction that in the fall of 2004 I will attend the Inn Culinary Apprenticeship Program upon my acception .--Josh Mellinger Being an RA has been, by far, the best part of my year. It has been such an incredible experience, watching Philippians 1:6 at work in the lives of my sisters in Christ, and sometimes even having the privilege to be used in that process. It has definitely challenged me to be selfless and to love others as Iwould myself—but there’s nothing like standing back and watching the Lord do things that could not possibly be attributed to anyone else. Being an RA has taught me the all-sufficient power of theWord of God, the power of prayer, the importance of faith, and has given me a strong desire to always be involved in ministering to others and challenging them, as they challenge me, to have a deeper relationship with Christ.— Aubrey Taylor
