Girl's Dorm Life Hair dryers, microwave popcorn, late night study sessions, and friends made to last a lifetime; these things are a small portion of what one could expect when entering into a girl’s dorm at Word of Life Bible Institute. A room can have two to five girls, much different from having a room all to yourself at home, but the close quarters tend to build lasting and wonderful friendships. There may be a wide variety of girls in each dorm, but the love of Christ transcends all bounds of differences. Along with the fun and excitement of living away from home comes responsibility. Every girl has a job that must be done daily in order to keep the dorm up to par. There is also the responsibility of having daily time with the Lord. Each dorm has one or two RA’s not only to enforce the rules but also to be an encouragement to the girl’s who live in each particular dorm. All in all, dorm life from a girl’s perspective is full of new friends, new transitions, and new responsibilites. Only at WOLBI will one find twenty sisters living in the same hall.
