Word of Life Bible Institute Yearbook 2004

Second Year students experience the mission field Argentina, Hungary, Portugal, Canada, New York City, Georgia, and Florida were hit by an incredible storm ol the Gospel during the ten day missions reality course. The entire second year class vacated their beloved New York campus to travel across the nation or across the world for the sole purpose of truly experiencing the mission field. No matter where the students were in the world they felt the prayers of their family, friends, and other Bible Institute staff and students. Ihe prayers were what kept the students focused on their goal of spreading the good news of Jesus Christ. One lesson that every student learned through this reality experience was that the world is full of people who need the Gospel. It was also a blessing to be with other Christians with whom they could fellowship. There is not a single reality television show which could allow someone to experience what the second year class experienced. They were emersed in foreign cultures and yet were able to communicate the simple plan of salvation. Of course there were trials and times of testing but the sufficiency of Christ reigned supreme throughout the entire time.

It was a blessing to see the people in Argentina, to see diem passing from death to life becoming a new creation. It was not us, it was all God, we were simply servants proclaiming His Word. Through fellowship with our brothers and sisters in Christ though we did not speak the same language, we were united by the blood of Christ. Hallelujah, Praise the Lord.
