Hi Ho, Hi Ho! It's Off To Work We Go
A clean plate, food to eat, a let ter home, a transferred phone call, a clean bathroom, corrected pa pers, a working microphone, washed floors, a ride to the Inn, a snack in the afternoon, a present for mom, even the correct names in the yearbook. What do all these things have in common? They are all jobs that WOLBI students were
responsible for during the year. Each student at Word of Life was responsible for a small part- time job. The students were re quired to help keep the campus running smoothly throughout the school year as part of their Chris tian service. Each student approx imately put in six to eight hours of work weekly along with their
studies and other ministries. “Sometimes I love my job, sometimes I don’t like my job, but I always know I am working for the Lord!” says Emily DeLorme about her job in housekeeping. Work assignments taught many valuable lessons such as learning to work with other people, and not thinking of only yourself.

TIME TO CLEAN THE DISHES: Greg Cheney ex presses the “working hard face,” so that everyone can eat off clean dishes. SLIPPERY SIDEWALKS: Steve Emery takes a whack at a chunk of ice to clear the sidewalks. Maintenance did a good job in keeping the campus beautiful.
