1994 THE FINAL FAREWELL This year has been a radical year of changes. God has truly been the potter and we have been the clay. As we reflect back to our Bible Institute year, we give thanks to our heavenly Father for the great work He did in us. “And ye put on a new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.” Ephe sians 4:24 path.” Psalms 119:105. Being taught under such great Godly men such as Wendell Calder, Dr. Charles Ryrie, Bob Dowie, Tom Davis, Marshall Wicks, Phil Moser, and many others was a great privilege. God was able to speak through these men and use them to teach us. We soon realized that getting into God’s Word would only bring one closer to God.
God was able to mold us through a number of ways. One of the most influential ways was through ministry opportunities. Word of Life gave some of us the first opportunity to go witnessing through can vassing and ministry. We learned how important it was to plant the seeds. You as an individual may not always reap the harvest, but another brother or sister in Christ will be able to see the fruit no matter who sows or plants God will always be the one to give the increase! When we first began witnessing some of us were a little nervous, but God was always there to calm our hearts. God was able to mold us through His Word. “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my
Finally God was able to mold us through ex periences and contact with other Christian friends. Being able to keep each other accountable was so very important. Accountability must be done out of love and concern for your fellow brother or sister in Christ. All the trials we went through not only bonded us together, but they also bonded us with our Lord Jesus Christ. We thank God for the memories, the experi ences, and the teachings. Though this year is over we need to continue to seek God’s guidance in our lives.
