T hanksgiving Fiesta
The Thanksgiving Fies ta was the highlight of the fall quarter. The Field House was eloquently decorated with handmade trees, scarecrows, and beautiful posters. Food service out did them selves with a handcarved ice sculpture, (a turkey of course), watermelon Indi ans, fruit flowers, and var ious varieties of breads. For many it was a dif ficult day because it was their first Thanksgiving away from home. Howev er, the enthusiasm of go ing home the next day was incredible. It was easy to see that the focus of the day was to give thanks to God. You
could see many parents, staff members, and stu dents taking the time out throughout all the day to give thanks to God for his great many blessings throughout the year. Later that evening, the student body and guests were graced with the per formance of “Every Knee Shall Bow.” The Colle gians did an excellent job and everybody was defi nitely impressed. This banquet was one of the best banquets all year and the whole cam pus had the feeling of Thanksgiving. ... “give thanks to the Lord . . Ps. 92:1
