pending power of the world’s power on today’s society. The conference was concluded with a banquet in which there was excel lent food and delightful company. Dr. Bailey had the pleasure of giving the final message at the ban quet. The weekend was ded icated to the founding Di rectors of Word of Life, Jack Wyrtzen and Harry Bollback. Also recognized at the conference were George Theis (Executive Director), and Joe Jordan (Chairman of the Board). Each man was recognized for his hard work and ded ication. Altogether the weekend was enjoyable and all its participants enjoyed themselves.
tarting off the spring quarter was the annual Founder’s Week Bible Conference. The theme of the conference, which was held on March 18-21, was “Profiting From Prophecy.” The messages that were given were excellent. WOLBI students and staff both learned many new things to apply to their Christian lives. Some of the speakers were Dr. Mark Bailey, Dr. John Walvoord, and our own Tom Davis who joined the two guest lecturers on a question and answer pan el.
