In the midst of the mighty Adirondack Mountains, resting on the banks of Schroon Lake, lies the quaint town of
Pottersville, New York.
It isn’t large in size but it has definitely been filled with spirit. When one first drives into Pottersville, they might wonder where the traffic light may be; but further down the road they will find a Bible Institute with much to offer. To the everyday on looker this town may not even seem worthy of a second glance; but when one spends quality time here, the impact is outstanding. A few years ago Word of Life was able to purchase the old school building and turn it into its International Headquarters. The second year classroom is held in Headquarters and students take advantage of the town’s assets. C &B’s General Store is a much loved place for students to grab a bite to eat and the Nice-n-Easy Mobile station offers coffee to keep students awake during early morning exams and pizza to satisfy their late night cravings. Everyone has grown to love this small town known for it’s three feet of snow and breathtaking sunsets as well as the friendly faces who wave as the Word of Life Bible Institute’s bus drives by.
