Those who deny freedom to others deserve it not for themselves
| Having friends and family over in the Middle I East has really affected me. Everyday I pray for my | brothers for safety, wisdom and salvation. Getting \ letters from them is like getting a million dollars. | It’s always so great to hear from them. I thank God | for all those who choose to serve and love our L freedom more than themselves.
JRAQI FREEDOM US AND BRITISH FORCES UNITE TO LIBERATE IRAG The ugly three-letter word “war” reentered the daily conversations of Americans oi September 11,2001, and even more so on March 20,2003, when the United States issued the first c many strikes against Iraq in hopes to liberate the Iraqi people. War has always been a controversial issu* and is not an area where unanimity is likely to be found. War is a situation where it can often be difficult to act responsibly. As Christians we mus not fight war out of anger, for that would not bless or honor God. We also cannot sit back, doin< nothing, and ignore evil and allow it to run rampant in the world. Christians must use discernmen when it comes to controversial issues such as war. Time of conflict and battle in the world are als( times of spiritual battle. Christians must be in prayer to God, asking for wisdom and thanking God tha even though the world may be in chaos, He is still in control. To remain a responsible Christian in a world of evil is extremely challenging. War is neve easy on a Christian conscience, even when it seem inevitable. Chrstians must lean on God and trus that He will reign vicotrious and deliver them from evil.
STUDENT (2002-2003j Spirit . that made those heroes dare To die, and leave their children free
My brother enlisted in the Air Force on Sept. 10, 2001, I was crushed on Sept. 11 when I realized he could very well be sent to fight for our country. All of our armed forces need our prayers whether they are sent over seas to liberate a country or if they remain in the U.S.A. to protect their fellow countrymen, let’s never forget those who have given their lives for our freedom.

It is easy to take liberty for granted, when you have never had it taken from you Seeing how God could use a person, George Bush, to use this situation to glorify Him. It makes me feel very privileged to know that I am
A HIGH CALLING We Christians in war are called to the hardesl tasks: to fight without hatred, to resist withoul bitterness, and in the end, if God grant it so triumph without vindictiveness -William Temple

part of a country that isn't afraid to stand up for what is right, and to finally have a person who ; is willing to lead this country in a way that would honor ; God. God can do great things and it is amazing to see how He can use mere human beings to bring glory to Himself.
