How has your ministry impacted your life
What was your favorite class and why?
well thought out, I also found his notes very easy to follow and easy to pass on to another person. -Josh Kelso
this year?
The class that impacted my life the most this year was Personal Evangelism with Dr. Larry Moyer. His teaching style was fun and interesting, his key points will always stick in my mind, so when I have the privilege to share the gospel, it will be clear to hearer. Also the excitement of evangelism was expressed all throughout the week; which motivates me to claim all opportunities that God gives me! - Martha Kelsey My favorite class this year was John taught by Dr. Charles Baylis. Previously I had only seen John as the 4thgospel, his class presented it as a brief summary of the entire work of Christ throughout history. Before had only thought of Christ’s earthly work and His continuing Resurrected work in the Church through the Holy Spirit; Dr. Baylis showed how Christ had been working with God the Father and the Holy Spirit since the beginning of time. Not only did I find his classes very
I was given an awesome opportunity this year to work in the Local Church Ministry. I am a leader at Grace Bible Church, right here in Hudson. I love this church! Don’t get me wrong we have had some trials, but we have learned and grown from them. Recently as leaders we have been praying for a revival, and we have seen 10 kids come to know Christ as their Savior! This is so exciting! I look forward to be ministering with this church in the future. -Heather Baxter It has probably been one of the best parts of my year. It is great to able to continually influence other people’s lives. I also think that one of the best ways to learn is to put into practice the things I’ve been taught in classes. It has definitely stretched me and allowed me to grow in different areas. I would never trade my experiences for anything else. -Jonathan Lindstam
If you were trapped on an island with one
fellow student, who would it be and why?
If I had to be shipwrecked from a 3-hour tour with any student it would have to be Shymon Rothschild. He could invent and build a hut, a coconut radio and even a coconut helicopter (kinda like the professor on Giligan’s Island.. . hummm “Newby’s Island,” lean see it now!) - Brian Newby I would be stranded with Stephanie Johnson, her girl talks would help me survive. We would sit out and tan all day, drinking water and eating chocolates. We would probably do all the girl things like color our hair and make a girlie Jane (George’s wife) house out of, leaves and sticks. I think she would be the funniest person; we'd laugh, cry and just be girlie girls
