ONE VISION WE HAVE THE DESIRE TO REACH THE WORLD
A wise professor stated during winter quarter that “the Word of Life Bible Institute is the only place where students learn to minister both in the classroom and by participating in various ministries off the immediate campus.” Whether students do Open Air Evangelism, Collegians, Sports Ministries, Local Church, Adirondack Church Ministry or other available ministries, they know their service has eternal rewards. Students learn to minister by hands on experience. They can choose to minister to youth in the local church, spend a week on the streets of New York witnessing, or to sing, perform, or play sports according to their God given talents. Although the ministry program is stretching spiritually, emotionally and physically, the students are always willing to use their personal gifts to minister to others. Word of Life puts such emphasis on ministry because of the eternal choices it enables people to make. Although most students may never see the fruits of their labor, there are people being added to the family of believers and seeds planted every day because of their work. Word of Life Bible Institute has a wonderful way of placing students into ministry that will not only allow them to serve others but it will help each individual grow in their walk with Christ as they continue to “set their minds on things above.”
