The Nats’ goals were scored by Aidan Dres, Anthony Hall and Trystan-Félix Tremblay, with assists from Samuel Dumont, Owen Brady, Jacob Charron and Jaden Davis. A couple days later, Rockland welcomed the Carleton Place Canadians to their home arena, hoping to redeem themselves. Although the Canadians put up one heck of a fight, the Nats didn’t let up, stopping the Canadians from scoring more than a single goal. The Nats played a masterful defense while also scoring a powerplay goal in the first period, a short-handed goal in the third and a final empty-net goal to wrap up the game. The final score was 3-1 in favour of the Nats. The Nats’ goals were scored by Dres, Kyle Leonard and Guillaume Labre, with assists from Charron, Davis and Brady. Their next game will be on January 19 against the Hawkesbury Hawks.

The Rockland Nationals may have bro- ken their win streak, but they haven’t given up. The Nats triumphed over the Ottawa Junior Senators twice in a row during the first weekend of January, and this weekend they attempted to add to that streak against the Kemptville 73’s and the Carleton Place Canadians. The Nats travelled to the North Grenville Municipal Centre on January 12, and des- pite the disadvantage of not being on their home ice, they gave Kemptville a run for their money. They scored the first goal of the game and stopped the 73s from returning the favor for the rest of the first period, then scored again minutes into the second. The 73s made their way onto the scoreboard late into the second period though, and, despite a third goal by the Nats, the 73s caught up with two more in the third period. After a stalemated overtime, the 73s managed to

Les Aigles de Saint-Isidore ont perdu leur joute contre les Castors de Cumberland mais ont gagné contre les Cougars de Vankleek Hill. Leur première joute était contre les Castors de Cumberland ce samedi 13 janvier. Les Aigles ont perdu 4-0. En tout, sept pénalités ont été données aux Aigles. Six d’entre elles était des mineures de deux minutes. La seule péna- lité majeure de 10 minutes pour mauvaise conduite a été attribuée à Cedric Hughes, pendant la troisième période, a huit minutes et 27 secondes de la fin de la période. Le but était gardé par Justin Casault. Les Aigles ont gagné leur deuxième partie 7-4 dimanche contre les Cougars de Vankleek Hill. Le premier but a été marqué par Justin Duchesne avec l’aide de Maxime Paquette lors de la deuxième période, avec 12 minutes et 41 secondes restantes. Le
