Women

They were a good team. They had great attitudes on the court and off the court... We had a lot of ministry together in the vans...sharing testimonies... It was great to see how the Lord was working

WOLBI’ s women’s volleyball team learned how to be an example this year, whether it was to unsaved opponents or other Christian teams. The girls had many opportunities to talk to their opponents, and many lasting relationships were formed that extended beyond the season. Other Christian teams were were impressed that the WOLBI girls were ministering as a team and being an example throughout the game instead of just playing for fun or competition. Coach Christ was an encouragement to the team as she helped each of them individually and looked to always build up rather than tear down. The team became “like a family ” as they helped each other grow spiritually. As the girls strengthened their team, they soon were able to show other teams that they had something special in Christ.
