Word of Life Bible Institute Yearbook 2006

(ruest Lecturers

The structure of academics at Word of Life is such that every week students are exposed to a new guest lecturer for a week-long intensive study. Many of these courses are on individual books of the Bible, taught by experienced and knowledgeable professors. Along with their knowledge, though, these men share their individual personalities and teaching styles with the students. From Dr. Ray Pritchard’s “test buzzer” to Dr. Taylor’s harmonica, students are left with not only information to apply, but fun memories.

An Example of Trust

Dr. Charles Wagner During his week of teaching Ephesians, Dr. Wagner faced his own set of trials. The first day of class he received a call telling him he had cancer, yet he continued to teach. That week he also suffered injury to his foot that resulted in him having to teach from a chair. Through it all his faith remained strong. His example of trust and strength in God inspired many of the students, and he left that week to a standing ovation from the class.
