Missions Reality: LCM and OAE

Many people overlook the great need there is for missionaries to America. Hope flees from residents of this country as more and more they are taught to be tolerant and to live in the gray areas. For this reason, not only are students sent around the world but they have options in the US. A team travels to New York City to evangelize while other young men are spread all over the country to observe the workings of a missionary to America. Both trips can be eye-opening. “The biggest thing I saw played out in the ministry of Mr. Williamson {LCM area missionary} was his relationship with the people he ministered to. He sincerely cared about them. We don’t have these incredible statistics of hundreds of people coming to know Christ, but the biggest thing we did learn from this trip was the importance of knowing that ministry is people and making that philosophy a part of our lifestyle!’ L uke V illamater , LCM-I nd iana

“The biggest lesson I learned is that God is worthy of me always doing my best, even if I mess up. His ; name will be glorified by what He does through us. Seventy-one people made decisions for Christ, and it was good to see our team working well together as we all learned a lot about ourselves and our amazing God!’ _ _ A_ C har l i s e D a C u n h a , OAE
