Word of Life Bible Institute Yearbook 2006

Africa

Missions Reality:Uganda I think that I can speak for most of us in saying that it was shocking to see how little Bible knowledge pastors in third world countries have. The average First Year student has a much stronger foundation on God’s Word than any of these men! Yet they are willingly serving the Lord with their whole hearts. So many of us back down from ministry opportunities, saying that we are “under-qualified.” It was sobering to realize how blessed I’ve been to spend two years at the Bible Institute, and has made me even more aware of the great responsibility that I have to use and teach others all that I’ve learned. People in Africa are so open to the gospel! The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Written by Rachel Gasser
