intermural sports
- f i A i
From singing in a coffee house to getting rough and dirty in intermural sports, the students at the New York campus had numerous opportunities to get involved in activities and do something different than the every day routine. Several times a quarter, the Student Life Department would put together a group activity that students could participate in (not required, but equally encouraged). The activities offered opportunity for students to hang out with their friends, and at the same time get to know people they might not have met otherwise. When some of the staff hosted dinner for students in their homes, students were able to meet those who work behind the scenes at Word of Life, get a good home- cooked meal, and fellowship in a different ason.and Tan
setting than normally experienced in the dining hall. Students are able to use their God- given gifts in activities such as Coffee House. Whether singing a solo, playing an instrument, or a mixture of both, students were both involved in displaying their talents, and enjoying a cozy atmosphere while drinking lattes. Whether you participated in glow bowling, the Christmas Party, tubing at Gore Mountain, or you were busy practicing for an intermural sport, Bible Institute students would agree that they have enjoyed a variety of activities' through the year!
........................ Jason and Jen Headlee took over the student life activities this year and have done an excellent job putting together fun opportunities for the students to interact, both on and off campus. We also appreciate how they turned the old library into a comfortable lounge for the students to enjoy!
