minister through their work. Service assignments provide students with real life training in developing a Christian work ethic. Everything from showing up on time to good attitudes is expected as the students work. Serving throughout their work areas provides opportunities for leadership, accountability, as well as friendships. Although some may view these assignments as simply work, the intention behind them is so much greater. While Attending the Bible Institute, every student participates in a service assignment. Although it is often referred to as work, these assignments are truly an act of service. Whether it is work in the kitchen, housekeeping, maintenance, library, or in one of the many other areas, each student has the privilege to serve his fellow students on campus. Each week, every student works approximately six to eight hours in their assigned work areas. This system helps the Bible Institute to run smoothly and effectively, as well as build unity among the student body. Serving together on the same work crews, each week,

the tasks seem menial, it is important to remember who requires teamwork in order to they are ultimately serving.
