Lord had other plans. He is ’not willing that any should perish, but all should come to repentance!’ (2 Peter 3:9) I am grateful that my Lord was not willing that I perish but had a plan to save me from my sins. He desired my life, my heart, and my all. He sent a woman after His own heart, my grandmother, whose only desire was to please' Him. She presented the Gospel to me when I was twelve years old. It was then that I trusted the Lord Jesus Christ as my Savior, being my only way to heaven. “For by grace (I have) been saved through faith!’ (Eph.2: 8-9) Since then, God has brought me to Word of Life Bible Institute and is continually preparing my heart, mind, and soul for His service. He is leading me to attend the Word of Life Bible Institute in Argentina for further training. This will prepare me for full time ministry on the mission field of Managua, Nicaragua.
My name is Sebastian J. Murillo. I come from a family of five (four sisters!). I was born in Managua, Nicaragua into a society that did not know Christ. Wars were breaking out all around us, with people fighting to see who will be in power. Murders and things of this sort where happening at the time that I lived there. We children still attended church with my mom even though there would be a man with a machine gun in his hands around every corner. I have been attending a Baptist church since I was born. I have attended churches in Nicaragua, Florida, North Carolina, and New York. Now I am twenty- five and attend Word of Life Bible Institute in Schroon Lake, New York. Preparing my life for the ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ. Before I was saved, I was walking in the flesh, Galatians 5:19-21. These things separated me from God. I was dead in my trespasses and only deserved death, but the
