Word of Life Bible Institute Yearbook 2008

I

Credibility - It means worthy of belief. In more practical terms it means to live out what you say you believe. This year at the Bible Institute, we desired more than anything to challenge your belief system and to encourage you to live your life according to Biblical Principles. I believe that if you think and believe Biblically, you will behave Biblically. I don’t believe that you will leave the Bible Institute and do your Quiet Time at 6:45 every morning. But, my prayer is that you will see the value and need of spending time with God on a regular basis no matter what time it is! I don’t believe that you will be in your rooms at 10:30 every night or that you will have devos with your siblings or that you will carry your toothpaste back to your room when at home! But, my prayer is that you would have learned responsibility. I don’t believe that you will write out a special permission to spend time at a friends house or that you will run into church so as to

not be late. I also do not believe that you will wear a tie to church all the time. But, my prayer is that you will have learned to communicate and be sensitive to others. I don’t believe that all of you will do open air evangelism in New York City every year. Or that you will spend 8 week-ends in the winter counseling students at Snow Camp. But, my prayer is that you will open your eyes to opportunities to share the Gospel. All that we seek to do here at the Bible Institute is to create men and women who are credible in their Chrisitan faith. To live out, in creative ways, that which they hold to be truth from Gods Word. Know that as you move ahead in your life - that we here at the Bible Institute love you and count it a privilege to believe in you and see true Life Change that comes from changing your beliefs to be in conformity to the Word of God.
