Word of Life Bible Institute Yearbook 2008

First off, it was an awesome ministry opportunity. There were three things that I really enjoyed, as well as the team in France. The first was going to the Foyers. Foyers are places were West African Muslims come to stay and work in France to support their families. We were able to talk to them about Islam as well as discuss what we believed. It was a great presupposition remover; they were really open. The second thing was the Eiffel Tower. It was massive. At the top of the tower we could see pretty much all of Paris. Lastly, which I think was the biggest point of the whole experience, was the Superbowl. It was the first ever in France. The first half was involved in ice skating and bowling. It was a lot of fun to

be able to interact with the French teens. The other half was devoted to a few games, the Born Again to a Living Hope drama, and then the message. To sum up the Superbowl, we were privileged to have 111 teens attendwith 21 of them receiving Christ. The one thing the missionaries want to share with Christians in America is that France is a growing field, teens are getting saved, churches are being started, and things are happening and changing. Overall, some of the team plans to become missionaries to France; and others have received a better understanding and appreciation for what missionaries do. At least in my eyes, it was a successful trip.
