I had the opportunity to go on the trip to Quebec, Canada. Our group consisted of fifteen students and five tour staff members. Several things stuck out to me during that trip. One thing of course was Open Air Evangelism (OAE). For some of us, including me, it was not easy to hand out tracts or to speak to strangers. But God used us anyway, and it was a really great "getting out of our comfort zone" experience. Even though we were very often rejected by the people there, some of us were able to have good conversations and have an impact on people. Another thing that was really awesome was the ministry apart from OAE. We participated in church services and youth groups where we were able to worship God together with the people, to perform our
dramas and to give our testimonies as well as interact and talk with the people afterwards and have an impact on them that way. The third thing would be the fellowship within our group including the missionaries. It was really great to work together with such enthusiastic missionaries and to learn from them. They were fitting into our group like they were one of us. They were able to minister together with us to the people, and we were also able to minister to each other within the group. All in all, we had a great time, challenging experiences, and good fellowship within our group and from the first couple of days, pretty much sunshine. T W
