The founders and directors of Word of Life provide an example for all students to follow. Each of these man has truly filled a gap.

As the students returned from a whole month off they were greeted by a snow storm and the annual Missions Conference. With speakers and testimonies from all over die world, the students were challenged daily to stand in the gap. Where to start was one of the questions on many minds, but there really is not a specific place to start. All you have to do is stand for the Lord where you are and you will be in the gap. And once you are on the course, do not get off or go back. “There are millions out there who have never said a prayer.” So many people do not know who He is, as Christians we need to be willing to be the man or woman diat will stand in die gap. As Christians the Lord has chosen us to stand for Him. It does not matter who we think we are or what abilities we have, the Lord has made us and can use us just die way we are; all we have to do is be willing. As Bernie Heath sang in one of his songs, “My house is full but my field is empty. Who will go and w7ork for me today?” Will you be the one to go and stand in the gap for Him?
