First Year Banquet As spring quarter arrived at WOLBI, the question on everyone’s mind was, “What next?” WOLBI had the answer: “Come back for second year!” In order to stress this point, all first year students were invited (and required to attend) a dinner at the beautiful Word of Life Inn. Students signed up to attend on one of they three evenings and were excused from study hours. The speakers for the banquet were Phil Moser, who spoke on the first and second nights, and Dr. Joe Jordan, who spoke at the final banquet. Reverend Moser and Dr. Jordan each gave brief devotionals after the dessert plates were cleared. The emphasis of the messages was ministry, and that in whatever each student chooses to do after first year, he or she should be ministering in it. Samantha Mike
