CBF Team A Our CBF (Children’s Bible Fellowship) team had an awesome experience together. We worked with kids during a weekend retreat but also worked alongside the staff cleaning up the camp. We also went into the streets of the Bronx and New Yor k City to pass out tracts and witness on the streets. I realized that I have so much and I really need to be more thankful for all the Lord has blessed me with. I met kids from very tough situations, but they still had joy. Seeing how* much those kids wanted to be loved broke my heart I wanted to show them true love- the love of Jesus Christ. The retreat with the kids w'as wonderful. Being part of their lives for just the weekend had an awesome impact on my life. My team had so much fun together and we especially bonded when we spent the day in New' York City. CBF has been a great ministry and I will never forget my experiences while on it. Kellie Herendeen

CBF Team B Our CBF group spent a week in Carmel, New' York, at a place called Camp Joy. We began die w'eek by cleaning up dre camp. Midweek, we began street witnessing in the Bronx and Harlem, New York City. Friday through Sunday w'e were counselors for* inner city kids at Canrp Joy. My w'eek of ministry was amazing. The Lord fulfilled every expectation I had. I remained open to what He wanted to show me and I grewr so much. The highlight of die w'eek for me w'as the exposure trip. We wrent all around New' York City and were exposed to life in different parts of the city, from drive-by evangelism to giving lunches to homeless to seeing Times Square at night. It was awesome! Bonding with the other* members of my ministry team was also awesome. God brought the perfect people together to minister and w'e all grew' during that week. Shannon Tull
