“I had gotten sick and lost my voice while on my way to New York. After a few days my throat was sore so I decided not to talk anymore and just hand out tracts for a while. One woman walked right up to me and asked, ‘What do you have?’ I shared the gospel of Christ with her and she was so ripe and ready to receive Christ. As I gave her an example of how she could talk to God to receive Christ, she just started repeating after me. I usually let people pray their own words to accept salvation, but this time decided I had better keep talking (in my raspy almost nonexistent voice) and pray clearly since she was repeating every word I said. Clearly God drew this woman to Himself. Later she told me that when she saw me standing there, she just had to know what I had. She w7as desperate and searching and God opened her eyes. Just when I thought I had nothing left to give (no voice, no energy, and bad health) God brought opportunity my way and by His grace He w’orked through me that someone might come to know Him. Praise and glory to God alone.” Kristin Ann McKesson OAE Team 4 “I learned that there are many people out there in the world that have never heard of Jesus Christ. I also realized how. important it was to share the Word of God with people when witnessing to them. The first day I w7as trying to convince people with my words. Then for the rest of the wreek I decided to only share the gospel with people and scripture that would answer their questions and not my words. When I started doing that I saw people’s expression change and just the tone of dieir voice changed. I could see the Word convict people even if they did not accept Christ. During fall quarter we got in an accident in die projects and were forced to do a kids meeting because we had to wait for the police. While we were doing the kids meedng our leader w7as able to lead a guy to the Lord. We w7ere also able to plant some seed to about 10 other people.” Paul Stanfield

over New York City, such as the Bronx, Queens, Manhattan, and Wall Street and talk to all walks of life—the poor, rich, depressed, eccentric, philosophical, Atheists, agnostics and New Age. There were some who were desperately searching and others who could have cared less that I was sharing the gospel of Christ with them. I had the opportunity to talk to a seven year-old girl named Stephanie. I explained the gospel to her and she said her mom told her that if you do bad tilings they will come back to get you. I explained His grace and her countenance changed and she accepted the invitation. We prayed but the best part was that towards die end of the prayer, she finished and stopped repeating me. She understood fully what she was doing. When 1 asked her if she could lose her salvation, her reply was, ‘They can take my clodies and they can take my money, but they can't take my Jesus away from me because He lives inside me.’” Becky Byard
