Spanish 1 Our ministry team went to the Bronx and Passaic, NJ. While we were there, we passed out a lot of tracts, helped with children’s meetings, and ministered to the local Spanish churches. While passing out tracts one day, I was given the opportunity to witness to two little boys who were heading home from school. It was so neat to see God work through me to bring two more people into His family. I learned to totally commit things to God, realizing that if I did not, everything would crumble. Dealing with the rejection w7as difficult, but I had to ahvays keep in mind that God commanded me to tell others of His salvation and He would bring the results. Our team wras so unified and it w7as such an awesome part of the trip to watch everyone grow and become more excited about God. He really knew what it was I needed to have the fire restarted for Him. Spanish One of the aspects that makes Spanish Ministry so unique is the wide variety of things w^e do. We are involved in things such as open air, children's programs with clowns, tricks, games, songs and a salvation message. We also work with the different youth groups, including them when wre go out and teaching them how to witness to those they come in contact with. This year God provided me with the opportunity to lead three girls to the Lord. Even though they walked away the first time, they came back and the complete Gospel w?as shared. While being out this past year I learned that if you do not have a desire to minister you will not be profitable in the ministry. The excitement about sharing the gospel is contagious and God can use any one of us if we are willing.
